We have had an amazing time here and the weather has been glorious. We may live 10.5 hours away and 565 miles but we will be back to Kathleen’s Croft.
Just wanted to drop you a note to say what a fabulous time we are having. Kathleen’s Croft is such a lovely place, it works really well for our small family. The weather so far has been excellent too, last night we were playing on the beach (with your neighbours) until sunset and this evening we enjoyed an ‘al fresco’ supper.
What a wonderful stay at The Birdhouse. We have loved our time here and exploring the area. Picnicking on the sand beaches were a particular highlight. Huge thanks to Gregor and Kirsten for being perfect hosts. We look forward to coming back again soon.
A very special few days at the Birdhouse. Lovely walks around Applecross’s little townships and we managed to venture into the spectacular Torridonian mountains which have been here a long time – some 400 million years. Hope to be back before too long. Many thanks to The Birdhouse and perfect hosts Kirsten and Gregor.
The Birdhouse is a beautiful house with a welcome hamper , details on things to do locally, and all around a perfect get away.
What a wonderful, unique little cottage The Birdhouse is. We have loved our stay here and very sad to be leaving. We will defo be back, hopefully in the summer. We’ve had a wonderful stay. Thank you for the goodies in the hamper – gorgeous biscuits!

You have created a gorgeous, unique place to ‘unplug’, a hideaway in a stunning place of tranquility and beauty – thank you. Toscaig harbour was very pretty and of course The Applecross Inn. Special few days in a very special place – The Birdhouse. Thanks again.
Had an absolutely amazing time at The Birdhouse! Scenery phenomenal, people delightful, and the whole experience being magical! New Years Eve was one we will never forget on our last day with seeing it snow here on our last day being a highlight. Thank you so much for everything.
