We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Birdhouse, it was very relaxing after doing the NC 500 and we were blessed with good weather.

Beautiful area, beautiful place! Everyone should put a little Birdhouse in their soul! Perfectly appointed house and great hosts. Plenty of walks, views and good food. Highly recommend!
The Birdhouse is an idyllic, peaceful place to stay. A wonderful nest! It’s extremely comfortable with everything you need – including hot water bottles, logs for the fire and a gorgeous welcome basket. It you spread your wings it’s well located for meals out, a little local shop and wonderful walks. We only stayed three nights but wished it had been for longer.
What a beautiful, peaceful corner of the world this is. We have had a wonderful week at The Birdhouse. Highlights include several brilliant meals at The Walled Garden, some delicious smoked cheese from the Applecross Smokehouse and some beautiful walks exploring the local area. The monkfish from the Applecross Inn’s outside van was delicious. Further afield we really enjoyed chowder and a slice of cake at Nanny’s in Shieldaig. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
